Cathedral Gardens

Sacred groves have a long history of connecting people with a sense of the divine. They have been places of sanctuary and worship for many cultures across time.

In the Kölner Domhain we invite people to contemplate the divine, honor the passed Domherren (Bishops), and connect with one another. A quiet space amongst a grove of trees, sanctuary from the fast paced life of the city.

Reflecting the layout and functions of the spaces inside the Dom, the Domhain provides spaces for congregants to use for quiet reflection and prayer, and spaces for visitors to gather and experience the majesty of the Dom.
